WHITE GOD
Few films managed to get to me as White Dog did. I love dogs, mankind’s oldest friend, and am disgusted by the cruelty and abuse that is heaped on them on a daily basis (not to disparage other animals, but dogs have always owned a special corner of my heart).
White Dog brought out a whole slew of emotions, and although there are gaps in logic in it’s two-hour running time, when it comes to an engaging picture, logic should always be thrown out the window. Besides, how often do you see an army of 280 dogs set loose on city streets?
