Man, 34 years since TEMPLE OF DOOM opened. I remember just the anticipation of it: the comic book, the poster, the roleplaying game and finally seeing it on a Saturday afternoon munching on caramel popcorn (the kind my wife would now steal wholesale from my Chicago mix bag).

I really love this film. Went through a period where I didn’t and mistook the over-the-top action, screaming and rubber acting as a detriment (I was in my 20s, and really most people in their 20s are riding a fine line between high-brow and know-it-all douchebaggery). This film is FUN, crazy and wonderful entertainment. Can’t wait to watch it again…
