#30 – BUD WHITE from L.A. Confidential. LA Confidential is one of my favorite films of all time. Bar none. I can watch it any night of the week, it’s just that good. Bud White is a thug of a cop — everyone around him knows it, even he’s come to accept it. But the key to his arc is his realization he’s a good cop, with compassion and detective skills. The pit bull turns on his master.
